Zak Morris
Zak’s mom kept in touch after her 13 year-old son’s camp experience and we got this amazing text from after the beginning of the school year. Even though it was a month and a half after camp, the memories were still fresh in Zak’s head and heart:
“I was ironing my son’s clothes, getting ready for school tomorrow and he comes in my room with something he made from camp. He says mom…I really really loved going to camp over the summer. We even had a dance and a girl asked me out. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry! He said the counselors were really cool and I loved everything about it.”
